Latinas of Houston, Join Amigas y Más Social for a fun-filled day at Mardi Gras Galveston! We’re heading to the island to enjoy the parades, live music and all the festive vibes together.
Here’s the plan:
🎠Meet up in Galveston (exact location will be shared closer to the event)
🎺 Watch the parades, enjoy the concerts, connects with Houston Amigas and share a few drinks together
🎉 Soak in the Mardi Gras energy with your amigas!
Important Details:
🔹 You must purchase your own Mardi Gras tickets from the official website. Date to purchase is for SATURDAY, MARCH 1. Please be sure you are selecting that day.
🔹 Transportation is not provided —please arrange your own travel to and from Galveston. If you are an AYMS member, join the event thread and connect with the Amigas beforehand to see if there are opportunities for you to carpool with each other.
🔹 Our meetup location will be shared with attendees before the event.

AYMS is an organization that focuses on fostering connections, support and social engagement among its Latina women. It provides a platform for women to network, share experiences, and participate in various events and activities designed to build camaraderie and mutual support. At this time, event spots are reserved for Latina woman only.

All event registrations are non-refundable. Once your RSVP is confirmed, cancellations cannot be accommodated.
Organization Fee Statement:
A small organization fee is collected for each event to sustain our community and support future activities. This fee is not applicable to any venue, food, drink or additional event costs incurred.
