Marck (Switzerland, b. 1964) currently lives and works in Zürich. Internationally acclaimed for his fusion of sculpture and video installations, Marck employs sculpted metal frames to encapsulate his videos, mainly focusing on the portrayal of women. Yet, his video sculptures transcend mere amalgamation, culminating in his profound exploration of film, multimedia projects, performances, music, and sculptural and kinetic objects. He has been the subject of exhibitions worldwide, including New York, Miami, Istanbul, Seoul, Basel, London, München, Wien, Bologna and the Ars Electronica Center in Linz. His sculptures have found permanent homes in esteemed collections, such as the Krupp Collection in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Doosan Art Center in Seoul, and the Borusan ArtCenter in Istanbul. Beyond institutional settings, Marck's video sculptures also grace the residences of diverse private collectors, sharing space with installations by the likes of Nam June Paik.
