Join the Social Work Action Coalition (SWAC) as we celebrate Pride and demonstrate our commitment to dignity, inclusion, advocacy, and social justice. We are inviting social workers, social work students, educators, advocates, mental health professionals, healthcare workers, and other helping professionals from across Arkansas to walk with us in the SoMa Pride Parade.Pride is both a celebration and a reminder of the ongoing work needed to ensure LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities can live safely, authentically, and with full access to affirming care and support. As helping professionals, our presence matters.
Whether you are a licensed social worker, a student, work in a social work-adjacent field, or simply believe in the values of equity and human dignity, we would love to have you join us.
