About this Event
As the weather warms and the sun shines new life merges on the reserve with birds singing, buds breaking and bulbs blooming. This walk will help blow off the cobwebs and welcome the spring days.
On this guided walk, led by the warden for Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, you'll see the best of the reserve in spring and learn a little about the seasonal changes on the reserve. You'll also heat about some of the fascinating history and folklore which goes with it.
The walk will be mostly flat and on footpaths, but due to the natural environment these may still be muddy and uneven in places.
Please ensure you are dressed for the weather and wearing comfortable footwear for walking. A bottle of water is recommended.
Our reserves team are used to working outdoors in all weathers, so we aim to go ahead with these events wherever possible. On occasion the warden may decide conditions are extreme enough to cancel the planned date, either because they'll be unable to deliver the event to a high enough quality or because it is unsafe to go ahead. If this is the case you will be offered an alternative date or refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund tickets if the event takes place but you choose not to attend.
