About this Event
The Experience
Participants will walk approximately .80 miles through Downtown Foley in full 80s attire — think roller skates, skateboards, windbreakers, mixtapes, teased hair, and all things retro. The community will be invited to line the sidewalks and cheer on walkers as they walk through downtown.
Each registered participant will receive:
- An official event t-shirt
- A VIP Backstage Pass Punch Card
- Entry to Block Party
The VIP punch card encourages participants to stop at participating downtown restaurants and bars within downtown. Each stop earns a punch, creating an interactive way to support local businesses throughout the evening. At the end of the event, participants who have completed their punch cards will be entered into a prize drawing.
The night will conclude with a Downtown Block Party featuring an 80s cover band, transforming the finish line into a full-scale throwback celebration with music, dancing, and continued community engagement.
