About this Event
Learn about the shorebird species breeding here and how the team work to protect them. Bring your binoculars along for a chance to see Ringed Plover and Oystercatcher as they begin to establish their territories. A telescope will also be taken out to hopefully offer some closer viewing opportunities during the walk.
The walk will cover about 3km and will involve some steps, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
This walk will take place twice during the day, in the morning (10.30 am - 12.30 pm) and the afternoon (1.30 pm - 3.30 pm). The same information will be given on both walks, so there is no need to attend both.
We will be meeting at the bottom of the Visitor Centre ramp, please arrive 10 minutes beforehand. This event is for adults and families with children aged 13 and over. Booking is essential as places are limited. Parking is available, normal parking fees apply. No dogs are allowed on this event as the walk will go onto the beach.
