Lace up your sneakers and help us kick off the Norwalk Earth Day Festival with a fun, family‑friendly Walk Parade from Nathan Hale Middle School to the Norwalk Green! We’ll gather at 11:30 am at the Nathan Hale Middle School parking lot, then take a relaxed 1‑mile walk together to the festival just in time for the 12:00 pm start. This is a great way for students, families, and neighbors to celebrate our planet, get some fresh air, and arrive at the Green in true Earth Day style.
What to bring and wear:
- Strollers, wagons, bicycles, scooters, and wheelchairs are all welcome
- Costumes, signs, and school spirit gear encouraged (think Earth, trees, animals, recycling heroes)
- Reusable water bottles, hats, and anything you need to be comfortable outdoors
At the Norwalk Earth Day Festival on the Green (12–4 pm), you’ll find live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, 75+ eco‑friendly exhibitors, and more, all FREE and open to the public. You can stay as long as you like, and transportation back to Nathan Hale Middle School will be available after the walk.
