Walk In Your Wedding Attire

On 18th July 2026, we’re inviting supporters to dust off their wedding dresses, suits, bridesmaid gowns or best formal wear and join us for a truly special and fun fundraising walk in support of The Knights Foundation, celebrating their 10 year anniversary.

This unique event was created by Kate and Michelle, inspired by Kate’s family’s own journey and the support they have received from The Knights Foundation over the past five years. Together, they wanted to do something a little different to bring people together and raise vital funds for a charity that means so much to them.

This is a light-hearted, feel-good event all about coming together, having a laugh, making memories, and supporting an incredible cause.

We are incredibly grateful to our event sponsors, Brides of Southampton est. 1976 and Wessex Regional Care, for their generous support in making this event possible.

Brides of Southampton have also kindly donated a number of wedding dresses for participants to wear on the day. If you don’t have a dress or outfit and would like one, please get in touch with Anna at and we’ll do our best to help.

Meeting Time: 12:00pm
Start Location: Royal Victoria Country Park, Southampton

We will:

• Meet at the Royal Victoria Country Park in Southampton
• Walk together across Itchen Bridge
• Finish at St Mary’s Stadium, where we’ll take group photos inside the stadium
• Head to The Dell Pub to finish with a reception-style celebration party

This is a group walk at a relaxed pace, suitable for anyone who fancies dressing up and getting involved.

The Knights Foundation supports children and families affected by serious illness, disability, and hardship. They provide practical support such as specialist equipment, family days out, and access to their holiday lodge, helping families create positive experiences and special memories during incredibly difficult times.

Every step you take helps make a real difference.

Ticket Price: £20 per person

We ask each participant to aim to raise a minimum of £80 to support The Knights Foundation.
