About this Event
Join our wellbeing walk, led by Elizabeth Waight, and take the opportunity to slow down and tune into the often unexplored surroundings of Barts Hospital. While we explore the area’s rich heritage, there will be no heavy content.
Our lunchtime walks are about space and relaxation, encouraging you to engage with your environment through small, simple sensory exercises and breathing techniques. The aim is to help build habits that promote calm and resilience. Such tools can be used at any time, or in moments of stress.
These 45 minute walks aren’t about intense mindfulness practice—they’re about taking a moment to move, connect, and recharge in a supportive environment. You can enjoy the many benefits of walking, while having the space to notice your surroundings.
The walk will cober some of teh North Wing's surroudning area, and finish in the Great Hall.
Free tickets are available for Barts Health NHS Trust staff and patients.
