A two-hour walk between Bonawe quarry and Craig traveling north/south (approximately) along the northside of Loch Etive.
Explore Bonawe's Gaelic Landscape...
...immerse yourself in the historic Gaelic landscape around Bonawe on this accessible guided walk along the side of Loch Èite (Etive) with local Gaelic researcher and hill guide Ross Christie.
Join us as we explore the wealth of Gaelic knowledge hidden in plain sight in the plants, animals, place names, mythologies, cultural and social histories of our landscape, from 2,000 years ago, through the industrial era, and up to today, all through an accessible half day's walking.
This interactive, relaxed walk is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels, with ample opportunity to rest and take in the sights and sounds of the loch side, and to view the landscape in brand new ways.
No experience necessary, just bring your imagination and enthusiasm!
We've also organised for a scavenger challenge or two for the little ones too (and the bigger ones if they fancy it!).
Fee: £15.00 for 2.5 hours.
There are only 12 spaces available so grab them quick at this link https://TACwalk13April2025.eventbrite.com
