About this Event
A walk is like making thousands of decisions without a thought, where every step is a decision. A walk reinforces the pathways in our brain, which enable us to make the same, quick decisions each day in life. A walk helps to reduce anxiety, depression, overthinking, and worrying and lets us enjoy life more easily.
When you think you do not need a walk then this is good, because you have made a quick decision! But when you feel like it is too much effort, that it is too cold, are not in the mood, or simply cannot get yourself outside, then it may be a sign that you should go on a walk.
I hope you find this inspiring! We will meet at the Tynemouth Tower Clock in front of the priory and walk from there up towards the lighthouse (or how far people are willing to walk).
FYI: Dogs are always welcome! If you are having difficulties with parking then try to park further up (i.e. Cullercoats, Spanish City, or near the lighthouse) and then take the Metro to Tynemouth.
