Porcelain berry (Ampelopsis glandulosa) has been identified growing in a public natural area near the Historic Henry Covered Bridge in Bennington. This plant is a regulated species under Vermont’s Noxious W**d Quarantine because its introduction and spread pose serious ecological, economic, and community risks. Join us for a walk along the Walloomsac to learn about Porcelain Berry & other invasives threatening Vermont’s landscapes.
We will be looking for and pulling invasive plants. Please wear gloves & waterproof shoes, and dress for the weather.
All volunteers must sign a waiver form which can be found on our webpage. Printed copies of the waiver form will be available at the event for participants to fill out in-person.
