About this Event
Saturdays this spring, we’re going to Walk & Talk at noon!
A Group of Concerned Citizens – Racine began last year coming out of the Hands Off rally and continued through No Kings, the Town Hall we hosted, and many other actions and partner events we supported together. We’re a core group of 5–6 organizers — and this year, we want to get to know more of you.
In 2026, we’ll continue hosting events and sharing partner opportunities, so as we do this, we also want to build stronger connections within our wider group. So let’s Walk & Talk.
We’ll meet on Saturdays for a relaxed ~35-minute walk along Lake Michigan (dress warm and wear good shoes!), talk using 3–5 guided questions to spark conversation. We’ll end by each making a small, meaningful commitment for the week ahead.
It’s a little exercise, a lot of good conversation, and a simple way to strengthen relationships as we prepare for the continued work ahead in 2026.
Not into walking or managing mobility concerns? That’s completely fine — join us for coffee afterwards (~12:45p) at a nearby coffee shop, most likely Call Box Coffee on Gould or when it warms we can walk further into downtown.
We can’t wait to Walk & Talk with you. 🚶♀️👟🌊✨
