Dive into two exciting free family workshops in Birkenhead Park this half term: History + Fashion or Environment + Nature.
We’ll start with a 1 hr themed WALK focused on either the Environment + Nature or Fashion + History. Including things like…
🐑 How animals and wildlife have changed in the park (Did you know the park once had sheep?)
⛸️ How climate change has effected activities we do in the park (like ice skating!)
🎩 How fashions have changed in the park. From dressing up to show off your clothes to throwing on your joggers!
We’ll then spend 1 hour inside MAKING
Design what the people, wildlife and park will look like in the future with us and our guest architect Anjaly.
How will people and nature change the park? What kinds of clothing might people wear? What architecture, activities, and wildlife will be in the park?
Display your work in the PARK!
You’ll have the opportunity for your artwork to be featured in a special exhibition this April/May, showcasing work from Birkenhead Park’s past, present and future.
