Waldo’s Secret Art Walk is happening at Waldo’s Secret Garden on February 15th and 16th. Back by popular demand this event attracted over 3000 attendees last year to Waldo Sexton’s original homestead on 12th Street in Vero Beach. You’ll find artists lining brick pathways and tucked under the shaded patios that he created. Every turn in the path through this lush jungle garden reveals a new surprise and there’s a treasure trove of Waldo’s eclectic style in the many buildings on the property. The Garden is also celebrating over 100 years in Vero and has applied for historic designation. During the artwalk visitors can visit the “Treehouse” built by Waldo and browse the unique works of 32 juried artisans who have creations in sculpture jewelry painting glass clay metal furniture and found art. There will also be wood-fired pizzas and empanada’s and a selection of craft beer from Sailfish Brewery. Waldo’s Secret Art Walk is open from 11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday February 15th and 16th. Be sure to mark your calendar for this special event. Entry is free parking in the on-site lot is $2.
