The golf course has a nice variety of habitat, so the park is always a great place to bird. This time of year, you can expect to see a variety of year-round resident birds as well as some early migrants, including swallows, warblers, vireos, and flycatchers. The trails are fairly level and nearly all paved. There are several places for people to turn around if they want to leave before we finish the roughly 2.5-mile loop. Carole Flood and Jeff Marx will be leading the trip. You can reach Jeff at [email protected] to ask questions or to let them know you’ll be attending. Participants should meet at 8:00 am in the parking lot at the end of Fenby Farm Road.
