"No living man may hinder me."Hello to all of our fellow hobbits, elves, dwarves, and men! The Siege of Minas Morgul is Maryland's first grand tournament of 2025. The tournament will be 700-points with five, two-hour rounds. There will be 3 rounds on Saturday followed with 2 rounds on Sunday. Entry will be $40 for the GT, and every player will get a goody bag with dice and hobbying materials for coming to the event. We have enough space for 50 players at the tournament to start out, but if we completely sell out of tickets, then we will look at expanding the tournament to add more players. This will also count as a 100-point MARC event. We will also have shirts available for anyone who would like to commemorate the event. Shirts will be $25. If you would like one, please let me know your size by March 30th, and you can send your money to the TO, Austin Featherstone.
We will have a set of hotel rooms set aside as well for those who would like to stay overnight for the grand tournament. More details will be shared soon about the name of the hotel and the discounted rate.
We will have a crown of morgul to give away at the tournament, along with a replica of The Witch King's sword, and other MESBG models. Raffle tickets will be $5 or 5 for $20.
We will be using the new MESBG rules and army building rules for the tournament. All army lists must be sent to the TO, Austin Featherstone, by Sunday, March 30th. You can DM your army list to the TO, or email your army list to: [email protected].
Prizes will go to the top 1/4 of players who attend the event and complete all five rounds. We will also have special prizes for:
1st-3rd place
Grey Pilgrim award to the person who travels the furthest
Best painted army contest voted on by the community
Killmonger award to the hero who kills the most models at the tournament.
