Observed annually on the fourth Tuesday in March, it serves as a “wake-up call” for individuals to learn their risk and take proactive steps toward prevention and management.For 2026, the event will be hosted by the Be Well Foundation and proudly sponsored by Louisiana Blue. Together, they are bringing this important initiative to communities across Louisiana, offering free educational resources, health screenings, and wellness activities. The goal is to empower individuals with knowledge, connect them to local support, and inspire healthier lifestyle choices that can reduce the risk of diabetes and its complications.
