We are Wahine Weaving Words - a trio of Wellington based poets. Join us for our opening night where we will serve up an evening full of nourishing word medicine including poetry, music and community. A place to gather together in ceremony to celebrate the voices of women, to inspire, encourage and uplift. Doors Open @ 7pm with Finding Rainbows - Pōneke based folk electroncia trio, weaving music throughout the evening.
There will be yummy kai & refreshments available for purchase.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to The Undercurrent Bookstore. Big thanks to Philip and Helena for hosting us - we will be gifting the proceeds of the night back to Undercurrent; venues like this are the beating heart of our city.
