WAC members spent last Saturday removing invasive blackberries at the Long Lake rest area. The blackberry roots proved very challenging to dig out but we persevered. This is the 3rd year that the WAC has been holding these invasive plant events in our neighborhood green spaces. Our next event is Saturday, June 6th from 9am-noon at the Loudon Walkway. Think about dropping by(all garden tools are provided).
