About this Event

Join Wisconsin Asian American Voices for Empowerment, ElevAsian and friends from Milwaukee’s AAPI communities for WAAVE’s inaugural storytelling workshop.

Guided by experienced storytelling guides Chingcha Vang and Adam Carr, we will explore, gather and tell personal stories of connection, power and growing up Asian American in the Midwest.

Funded in part by a grant from Wisconsin Humanities, with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this project do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
