VVhores. return to Westside Bowl on the heels of their latest release, ‘War.’ Their name is intended as an indictment of late-stage capitalism and the three-piece noise rock band has an attitude to match.

In a recent New Noise Magazine interview, guitarist/vocalist, Christian Lembach talked about touring:
“I love touring. There is something about driving down the road, stopping for gas, listening to music as you drive. Each night, you talk to people who say the nicest things to you. It’s a dream,” Lembach laughs. “I’m dedicated to this. It’s not a hobby for me. I take this fucking serious. Sometimes it’s hard to find people who are as committed as I am. Right now, we are ramping up. We are cranking up to do it full time. We’re lucky right now because Douglas and Casey are gung-ho about it,” he says. In addition, Lembach just likes playing live. “I like the physical act of playing on a stage. Same goes for in the studio and practice, too. I believe it legitimizes the band. Though, I don’t think bands that don’t tour aren’t legitimate. For me, there is something about making plans and doing them. Playing live is the most important thing for me. It makes me feel accomplished.”
