🎯 Purpose
Discussions in Healthcare – 2026 (Session 2) is the second convening in a quarterly series focused on women’s healthcare for veterans, military- and veteran-connected spouses, surviving spouses, and their dependents, with intentional attention to caregiver dynamics that shape women’s health outcomes.
This April 24th session centers on women’s health across veteran-connected households, including:
- Women veterans navigating care
- Women spouses navigating civilian and VA-adjacent systems
- Veterans serving as caregivers for civilian female spouses

This series builds the capacity of Community Navigators, healthcare providers, educators, and systems leaders to improve access, continuity, and coordination of care for women whose health needs intersect with military service, caregiving roles, and complex systems.
Our Goals Are To:
- Strengthen women-centered care navigation within healthcare and community settings
- Improve coordination across systems serving women veterans, spouses, and caregivers
