About this Event
Join us for Voyages: Chapter 6 and explore Aquarium exhibits surrounded by music inspired by ecosystem feedback loops from the mind of local artist Dan Deacon, with an original musical concept performed by Baltimore musicians.
Inspired by months of research within the Aquarium and expertise provided by Patuxent Riverkeeper Fred Tutman, Dan conceived of “Feedback Loop.” This interactive musical experience mimics how natural systems react to environmental changes and how these same systems undergo exponential transformation. As you experience the Aquarium in a totally new way, Dan’s music will inspire you to reflect on the ecosystems around you. After exploring the exhibits, close out the night with your fellow voyagers at an intimate after-party show from Dan Deacon.
Voyages: Chapter 6 promises to be a night of exploration that you won’t soon forget, featuring local food vendors Ekiben, AREPI, Crust by Mack and Sistahs' Sweets with a bar menu curated by Cane Collective available for purchase.
This is where art and science meet. This is a one-of-a-kind celebration of all things Baltimore and the connection we share with the natural world. This is the Aquarium like you’ve never experienced it before. This is Voyages. Are you ready to embark on a journey into the deep?
