About this Event
VOS Men Recital 2026 – Both Sides Now
Both Sides Now explores the dualities that shape the lives of the men in the choir. Beyond being singers, they also play many roles such as fathers and sons, professionals and students, and full-time national servicemen. Through a variety of paired repertoire, the recital reflects contrasting and complementary experiences that shape our identities. Each pairing invites listeners to consider different perspectives, emotions, and choices, reminding us that life is rarely one-sided and that meaning is often found somewhere in between.
Conductor: Justin Goh
Choral Conducting Scholar: Zachary Wong

About VOS Men
VOS Men is a tenor-bass ensemble established in 2022 under the Voices of Singapore Choral Society, led by conductor Justin Goh. Formed with the vision of becoming a nationally recognised male ensemble, the group advocates for Singapore’s choral excellence while promoting male singing both locally and internationally. In 2023, VOS Men collaborated with the VOS Children's Choir at the Earthshot Prize event in Singapore, graced by its founder Prince William. In 2024, the ensemble made their international debut at the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod, securing two Gold awards and a Category Winner title.
Beyond performing, VOS Men is dedicated to creating opportunities for men to connect through music. The ensemble offers mentorship and support for young voices navigating vocal change, building a supportive space for male singers in Singapore’s choral landscape.
As part of its mission to widen access to singing, the ensemble helms an annual outreach event, "Let the Men Sing." This initiative welcomes gentlemen from all walks of life to experience singing in a male choir, fostering community and social connection through the power of the voice.
