The Low Light Sessions is de derde editie van VON zijn eigen evenement in zijn thuisstad Aarschot.Hij heeft een aantal topmuzikanten samengebracht op een stevige lineup voor de ras-echte muziekliefhebber!
Met dit jaar voor de eerste keer een echte gastheer-presentator: Jan Staes!

Rabid Jack's energetische Kleinpunk schudt je wakker, trekt je bij de haren, en sleurt je op straat met een protestbord in je handen.
Denk Bad Religion, denk Urbanus, gooi die twee in een blender en je krijgt het Rabid Jack geluid!
Met zijn eerste album Smile or Die maakt de wereld kennis met zijn elektriciteit. De kleinpunker heeft daarna niet stilgezeten, maar heeft hard gewerkt aan het vervolgalbum Volgende Keer Beter.
Met songs over liefde, leven, en nog belangrijker: odes aan bier brengt Rabid Jack nummers over het leven zoals het is, was, zou moeten zijn, of juist net niet!
Verwacht je aan diepe grommen, stevige schreeuwen, zwoele laagtes en luide hoogtes. Kortom, een ware achtbaan van emoties, maar ongetwijfeld met passie, liefde, en toewijding!

Brother & Sister started this project with their minds set on the blues. Since 2025, supported by a powerful live band, they storm stages across various venues, sharing the bill with the likes of De Mens, Zornik, Guy Swinnen and many more.

VON ROB, born in the heat of August 2001, is a Country, Americana, and Blues artist whose music captures the raw, untamed spirit of someone who's lived through chaos and carved out meaning in the noise.
Raised in a broken home and often feeling like he didn’t quite belong, VON ROB found solace in sound. Music became more than just an escape, it became his anchor, his identity, and his way of making sense of the world. He picked up his first guitar at the age of five, instinctively drawn to its strings like they were a lifeline.
By fifteen, he had already started his first band, Casual Trip, which would go on to play at Pukkelpop, a moment that confirmed what he already knew deep down: music was the path. At seventeen, while studying music in high school, he began writing and producing his own songs, using them as emotional snapshots of whatever he needed to feel at the time, sorrow, joy, defiance, or calm.
His influences span from the gravelly storytelling of Colter Wall to the raw emotion of Eddie Vedder and the warmth of Caamp. But make no mistake VON ROB’s sound is entirely his own. On stage, he strips it down to guitar and vocals, letting the music breathe.
Off stage, he turns the amps to eleven with his rock bands, ROVER and Goe Grief because sometimes, the quietest souls need to get loud. VON ROB writes for the old souls and the people who’ve seen their fair share of pain. His music is for those who’ve been wronged, felt alone, or tried to find light in a place that didn’t want to give it.
Every song is a way through and a reminder that, no matter how heavy it gets, this too shall pass. Music is the only consistent thread in VON ROB’s life, the one thing that’s always made him feel like himself. And he’ll do everything it takes to keep creating, not just for himself, but for the listeners who might need to hear exactly what he’s saying.

- Als vierde (Headliner): Shakedown Tim & The Rythm Revue

"Soms raakt de blues je diep, maar kan het je ook ‘Way Up!’ tillen. Shakedown Tim brengt down home blues en uptown boogie zoals die klonk in de jaren '40 en '50, maar zijn songs zijn hedendaags. Zanger-gitarist Tim ielegems is een bekend gezicht in de blueswereld, medeoprichter van Fried Bourbon en vaak te vinden op het podium met grootheden als Gene Taylor, James Harman, Willie Buck, Roland Van Campenhout, Steven De Bruyn, Jo’ Buddy en Little Victor. Tim is niet alleen een uitzonderlijke gitarist en zanger, maar ook een entertainer die zijn publiek feilloos weet te bespelen.
Zijn band bestaat uit ervaren muzikanten met een grote passie voor old skool blues en jazz. Het geluid van een vintage fat body gitaar, piano, strakke ritmesectie en een bevlogen zanger zorgt voor een mix van low down blues, happy blues, wilde Memphis boogie, swing jazz, juke joint stomp met af en toe een vleugje gospel. Deze band richt zich recht op je heupen én je ziel!
'Get on the floor in twenty four’ op de tonen van de nieuwe release van Shakedown Tim: ‘Way up!’. De intense bluespiano van Ilias Scotch, de bluesgrooves van Kurt Lens en Koen van Peteghem, en de bijna-ontploffende 10-12 Watt Gibson EH 125 versterker markeren deze hete Rhythm Revue.
