Volunteers Needed Tree Delivery - Bay City Community Tree Giveaway
Event Location: Delta College Planetarium
Hey there! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help unload 400 size 3-gallon, 16" to 4.5' trees the morning of April 17th - each tree will weigh approx. 10-15 pounds. Get the first pick of a free tree when you volunteer!
No experience is needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring gloves and a personal water bottle if you have them. Sign up now to be a part of this fun and rewarding event.
The trees unloaded from the truck during the Friday volunteer event will be distributed free of charge to participating residents on Saturday, 04/18. ReLeaf Michigan is proud to partner with Delta College Planetarium to host a tree giveaway event. Funding for this project is provided by the USDA Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program in partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Urban and Community Forestry Program.
