About this Event
Join the Common Grace/Malama Mentors team at the Foster's Botanical Garden as we host our 2nd of 2 annual Spring Activities, featuring this year's theme: “Threads of Aloha.” 🌺
This meaningful event brings together the incredible mentor (teens) and mentee (youth) pairs who are part of our Malama Mentors program.
Come volunteer and help us create a joyful, welcoming atmosphere as we celebrate connection, growth, and the spirit of Aloha.
We will need help with the following roles:
- Setting up the event, directing guests to the meeting location, passing out our activity materials, helping and assisting with crafts/making our bracelet leis(you can make one too and take it home with you!), helping with games/activities, chaperoning the youth, serving food, and helping with clean up.
About Common Grace: Our organization’s mission is to connect highly vulnerable youth—often facing challenges like homelessness, family instability, bullying, or language barriers—with caring mentors from faith communities, businesses, civic groups, and local high schools. Mentors meet with students one hour a week on campus to build trust, encourage growth, and offer consistent relational support. Volunteer with us today to make a difference!
We’d love to have you join us in helping to make this event unforgettable for our pairs!
