About this Event
We invite you to three hours of education and gardening at the glacial kettles at Mount Hope Cemetery. Volunteers can expect to recieve a tour of the project and instruction on the tasks for the day. To do this work, we use tools such as rakes, tarps, shovels, spades, forks, pick mattocks, pruners, loppers and more.
Other gardening tasks can include:
- weeding
- spreading mulch
- removing leaves/debris
- pathway (rock) work
Come prepared with the following, to the best of your ability:
- gloves
- closed-toe shoes
