Every year Gabrielle enjoys volunteering as an HSA - Handicapped Scuba Association instructor at The Family Café in Orlando, an event that attracts 10,000+ attendees including people with disabilities and their families. We will be partnering again this year with Florida Disabled Outdoors Association SportsAbility Alliance to provide a SCUBA experience and a snorkeling experience to attendees with disabilities in the pool. The SCUBA and snorkeling sessions are Saturday 13 June at 2:30pm, so we will need to arrive by 1pm to set up. For those carpooling from Tallahassee, leave at 930am. We also need volunteers for the expo hall Friday 12 June 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-1pm to talk with attendees about the experiences.
We need volunteers of all abilities...some in the water with Gabrielle, and others on deck, helping taking pictures, gearing people up, etc. More people are needed out of the water than in it, so you do not need to be a diver to volunteer. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!
