Volunteer VIBEs: Cradles to Crayons 2026

Event: Cradles to Crayons

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm (Please arrive 15min early for registration)

Location: 281 Newtonville Avenue, Newton, MA 02460

Parking: There is parking designated for volunteers in the front and back of the building. You can also find on-street parking around the building. Do not park at The Pooch Hotel lot or the Tiem parking lot adjacent to the building.

MBTA: Bus or Commuter Rail (Newtonville stop)

Activity: Quality checking, sorting, packaging, and preparing donation items for kids.

What to wear: The Giving Factory is a warehouse environment, and is not fully climate-controlled. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing you do not mind getting dirty. Dress comfortably.

What to bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. There is a water station to refill during the shift.

Volunteers Incorporating Black Excellence (VIBE) Volunteers:

• Seeking 20 Volunteers
• Ages 18+
• Please use an email you check frequently when you RSVP so that you can receive reminder emails and event updates.
• Liability Waiver: All volunteers must agree and acknowledge the liability waivers. VIBE and Cradles to Crayons each have a volunteer waiver.

If at any moment you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration on Eventbrite so we can release your spot to someone else. We rely on an accurate number of volunteers.
