Become a Volunteer with Hosparus Health Barren River 💛Hosparus Health Barren River is hosting a series of free Patient and Family Support Volunteer trainings at our Bowling Green office. These sessions are open to anyone who feels called to offer companionship, support, and presence to patients and families in our community.
Volunteers serve in Warren, Allen, Simpson, Metcalfe, Monroe, and Edmonson counties, typically in the area closest to where they live.

All sessions begin at 10:00 a.m. CST

Volunteer roles may include:
💛 Providing companionship and emotional support to patients
💛 Offering respite visits for caregivers
💛 Delivering care blankets to patients and families
💛 Serving our veterans through veteran volunteer support
Volunteers commit a minimum of two hours each month.

For those unable to attend one of these scheduled training dates, in-person training and orientation can be arranged.
Registration is required for all sessions. All volunteers must provide documentation of COVID-19 vaccination before beginning service.
