About this Event
What: On March 12th, The Independence Fund will host a Feeding Independence event at the Charlotte VA Clinic. This event will provide Veterans with nonperishable groceries, fresh produce, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies.
These drive-thru events are held at local VA medical centers nationwide to combat food insecurity among Veterans and their families.
When: Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10 am-1 pm (volunteers need to arrive at 9 am, program begins at 10 am)
Where: We will be located in Parking Lot C of the South Charlotte VA Clinic, 3506 West Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28208. This will be a drive-thru event.
To volunteer, please sign up through this event page. Volunteers will assist with packing donation bags and loading food boxes into vehicles.
