About this Event

The UN SDGS are 17 global goals for a better world—covering health, equality, climate, and more. They show how local actions connect to global change.

Learn how the UN SDGs can:

strengthen volunteer recruitment and retention

frame your work for funders

demonstrate need and impact to trustees

The January forum will give an introduction to the strategic goals, as well as put them in context for how they can be useful for volunteer management and give you plenty of time to discuss with others.

The UN SDGs were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. They are a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
