Join Bangor Beautiful at the Bangor Farmers’ Market as we turn a 20-foot storage container at Abbot Square into a colorful community mural celebrating local food, farmers, and community.This container is an important part of the market, providing shared storage that helps vendors and the market operate more smoothly. Now we’re giving it a glow-up and turning it into something beautiful, welcoming, and rooted in the spirit of the Farmers’ Market.
We’ll be creating the mural through a hands-on, community-driven process. Volunteers, vendors, market visitors, and neighbors are invited to help prime the container, contribute creative ideas, and paint the final mural design. Bangor Beautiful will provide materials and guide the process, so no art experience is needed.
