Join the Longmead Working Group.Several accessways means that Longmead Reserve is used as a shortcut, and a flat walking exercise area. The many mature trees are in danger of being overcome by climbing invasive weeds.
Regular weeding every Wednesday is making a huge difference, but Longmead could really do with more helpers – weekends can be an option too if you are interested. The recent planting has made a huge difference to several areas where weeding has taken place. Come and see what a few people can do in a short space of time.
Meet in the grassed area in front of the carpark, which is opposite 44 Langana Avenue.
This regular working bee is on every Wednesday.
