Palmer Park Doggie Fashion Parade & Howl-o-Ween Party!
Volunteer to help at the Doggie Fashion Parade and Party. For people who love dogs and want to make this a great event, please sign up to volunteer:
— Set Up in advance (a few tents and tables)
— Donate a doggie prize
— Help hand out treats to dogs and humans
— serve as a parade marshall
— Help cleanup and breakdown after the event

Have fun in the Park with your Pooch! Dress up your Dog and yourself for the Halloween fun. The Doggie Fashion Parade Halloween Party will be held on Sunday, October 26 from 2-4 pm at the Palmer Park Dog Park.
LOCATION: The Doggie Fashion Parade Halloween Party is presented by People for Palmer Park's Palmer Park Unleashed Team and is being held at the new Palmer Park Dog Park at 1655 W. 7 Mile Rd.
PARKING: Park at the 12th Precinct Detroit Police Station lot at 1441 W. Seven Mile Road and walk west on the side walk adjacent to Seven Mile to get to the Dog Park.
PRIZES and TRICK or TREAT: Prizes will be awarded to all pets, creative costumes, fur coats, and behavior! Every pooch is a winner. Trick or Treat Doggie bags will be given to you to fill with treats and free refreshments will be available for our pets' humans.

Requirements for the event: All dogs must be on a 5 ft. or shorter leash and under full control of an adult at all times. No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat. During the event, dogs must be on their leashes. Read complete guidelines.
All dogs must be leashed at all times in Palmer Park. The only place where they may be unleashed is in the new Palmer Park Unleashed Dog Park located on Seven Mile Rd just west of the 12th Precinct Police Station!
