Since 2017, our non-profit organization has been helping Floyd County children, ages 5 to 15, experience the thrill of selecting gifts for their loved ones. We do this by providing gift certificates to all children and developmentally delayed adults and then running a pop-up shop December 6 - 23. Last yr, we had 586 shoppers and distributed over 4,000 gifts! All items we purchased through our fund-raising campaigns or were donations we accept year-round.We need MANY volunteers (18 yrs old and up) to help us run the holiday pop-up shop. Volunteer roles include:
• Being an Elf and escorting shoppers, as they go down their list, and search for fabulous gifts for their loved ones
• Being a Present Wrapper for each shopper in the Always Festive Wrapping Room
• Or consider trying both roles out
A short training will be provided! There are 29 holidays in December (not to mention birthdays). We respect and serve all!
