Looking for a meaningful and surprisingly fun way to spend some time outdoors?
Come join us on the farm for a day of gleaning and weeding—two simple but powerful ways to support local food and community.
What’s gleaning?
Gleaning is the tradition of gathering leftover crops after the main harvest. These fruits and veggies are still good—they just look a little different or they need a little extra help getting from the field to people who can use them.
And weeding?
Weeding might not get the spotlight but it’s essential. By clearing out weeds, we give our crops the space, sunlight and the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy. It’s hands-on care that makes a difference.
