Sprout invites yall to help us build a community farm on the Lafitte Greenway!About this Event
The fencing for the first garden area is finished! Next step is to remove the grass/turf to make way for mulch. This event's activities will be physical in nature. Wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, and sun protection. Work gloves and tools will be provided. Sprout will also provide drinking water and lunch afterward. Please try to arrive on time if possible, but late-comers and early-leavers are just as welcome!
You will get sweaty. You will get dirty. You will walk by in the future and tell your loved one's, "I helped build that farm."
