About this Event

Overview

The Woodland Trust Scotland manages over 60 woodlands across Scotland, including Kinclaven Wood in Perthshire. Our vision is for a world where woods and trees thrive for people and nature. We’re looking for volunteers to help us remove plastic vole guards from Court Hill, an area of Kinclaven Wood that was planted by local volunteers back in 2018.

Meeting place

We will be meeting at Kinclaven Wood car park (PH1 4QP). The What3Words for the exact locations is ///darker.applause.estimates.

Please meet at 10am prompt for the demo. If you're running late, call the team on 0343 248 4063 and one of us will wait behind. There is no obligation to stay for the full duration.

Parking
There is parking available at the entrance to Kinclaven. There is a height barrier of 2.05m at the entrance which can be open if needed.

Access

We will be working to the South of the site at Court Hill. There will be a short walk from the car park to the site, which will involve some uphill sections.

Facilities

There are no toilets or facilities on site. The nearest toilets will be at Blairgowrie Tesco (PH10 6NB, W3W///after.occur.blip) which is a 15min drive away.

Extra things to know

Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please wear warm clothing, good waterproofs and wellies or walking boots. We recommend wearing old clothes in case they snag on trees or undergrowth.
