Volunteer: Bird Island Restoration Part 2 with Rangers

Join the Park Rangers and Latodami Nature Center Staff for a morning of stewardship to improve the important habitat on Bird Sanctuary Island. This may include planting native tree species and continuing an invasive plant removal project. Meet at the Point Pavilion on Lakeshore Drive, then be paddled across the water by Parks staff. All tools, gloves, eye protection, boats, and life jackets will be provided. Bring water, wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Call for more information: 724-935-2170
