Welcome to Volume One!

What if your favorite local stylists were all in the same place at the same time? We thought the same thing. Come to SHAG Studios for the first of many education/industry events. Come watch us cut hair while you hang out with your friends, eat snacks, and have a cocktail or two.

Volume 1 features haircuts from Moses (@angelbabyhair), Marie (@seconddayhair) and Rachel (@artistrybyrachelp). These goofballs will all be going through their haircut services- beginning to end- while you watch, ask questions, or just hang out with your pals.

Here's a little about each stylist, if you don't know them already.

Moses: Hey yo! My name is Moses- owner of Crush Hair Studio. I love cutting hair and building community. My "specialty" changes every few years, or as long as my attention span dictates. But right now I'm deep into razor cutting and finding sneaky ways to help people elevate their style and feel more like themselves. I also love to teach about every aspect of this industry. Likes: dogs, snacks, Diet Coke. Dislikes: people who yell.

Marie: Hi, I'm Marie, an ethical stylist, artist and curator that's passionate about expression. I love curating people's style through hair and fashion to connect them to their individuality. When I'm not carving shapes into hair, I spend my time flipping art forms between dancing, experimental improvisational movement, djing, design work, selling/reworking vintage clothes, and curatin events that are fun safe spaces for the community.

Rachel: Hi, I'm Rachel! My specialty is givin clients the cut of their dreams and the confidence to recreate their style at home. My favorite part of the job is watching people leave feeling like a bad bitch 😈 (are emojis allowed? 😂) Likes: iced coffee, the sun, fresh socks. Dislikes: overhead lighting.
