Voices West is busily preparing for our first concert of the 2025-26 season: John Rutter's 'Mass of the Children' which we will perform with the Denver Children's Choir and a professional chamber orchestra!
As Willy Wonka is to his Chocolate Factory, so John Rutter is to the choral world ... the purveyor of enchanting, sweet – and sometimes quirky – melodies loved by all. The Mass of the Children is a chocolate river that flows lusciously and colorfully with beautiful poetry intermingled with traditional mass texts. The adult choir and children’s choir parts are woven together seamlessly and the result is a veritable a candy shop of beautiful choral sounds!
The members of Voices West are thrilled to collaborate with Denver Children’s Choir for the first time for this special concert. Denver Children’s Choir inspires, unites and educates children from diverse cultural backgrounds by fostering harmony in music, community and life.
