Join us on Sunday, March 8, at 9:30 a.m. in the Robertson Room. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Eric Hemenway, who is the Humanities Manager for the School of Environment and Sustainability at U of M. He is also a Special Consultant for the State of Michigan, where he works to develop public exhibits an educational curricula focused on Native American history. Eric will speak about the importance of public history and the powerful messages it conveys--how history is interpreted for the public, who shapes the narratives, and why thoughtful, accurate representation matters.
