This community panel discussion will explore psychosis through the perspectives of individuals with lived experience, family members, and mental health professionals. Panelists will share personal stories, discuss pathways to recovery, and provide insight into the challenges and hope that can exist alongside psychosis.The event will include conversation around treatment approaches, navigating support systems, stigma, family impact, and the role of compassionate care. Attendees will hear from a psychiatrist on clinical approaches and treatment options, a CIT trained police officer skilled in navigating critical intervention, and individuals and families with firsthand experience living with psychosis.
Whether you are personally impacted, supporting a loved one, working in mental health, or hoping to learn more, this event aims to foster understanding, connection, and hope through honest conversation and shared experience.
