Experience an inspiring journey through Gloria, O Fortuna, Va, pensiero, and beloved Chinese works, brought to life through powerful choruses, lyrical duets, and captivating solo performances.

Founded in 2011 by soprano Minghui Liu, the Sweet Homeland Association is a community-based non-profit dedicated to celebrating multicultural artistry. Its 100-voice choir, newly formed in 2025, brings together singers from diverse backgrounds under the distinguished artistic direction of Maestro Michel Brousseau, with acclaimed pianist Jean Desmarais. The ensemble presents a rich and varied program blending Western masterworks with selected Chinese choral works.
Following a warmly received debut in 2025, the choir returns to the stage on June 16 at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre, offering an inspiring evening where music transcends borders and speaks beyond language.
