About this Event
Voices & Cultures – A Refugee Celebration is a community event hosted by Unity for Integration Project (UFIP) as part of Refugee Festival Scotland 2026.
This event creates a platform for people from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds to share their stories, showcase their talents, and highlight their contributions to life in Glasgow and across Scotland. The programme will feature personal stories alongside cultural performances including music, spoken word, and comedy, as well as a shared food experience prepared in the Unity Hub kitchen.
Bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, Voices & Cultures offers a welcoming space for connection, learning, and cultural exchange. It is an opportunity to celebrate the richness that diversity brings, while amplifying voices and strengthening community understanding.
