About this Event
Is her Old Fashioned as good as her layup? Will her gimlet be a game changer? Freeland Spirits and The Sports Bra, along with in kind sponsor, Ferment Brewing, present a cocktail contest where big personalities and players in the women's sport space (locally and beyond) will step out of their comfort zones by mixing, shaking, and stirring cocktails to benefit to VOICEINSPORT***.
• Each competitor-mixologist is currently perfecting a cocktail featuring one of Freeland's spirits.
• Jenny and Jill, owner-founders of The Sports Bra and Freeland Spirits (respectively) along with a professional palate or two from Portland's cocktail scene will serve as judges to determine whose cocktail earns a spot on The Sports Bra's menu.
• Bring your own A game. Get ready to cheer on your favorites. Wear shirts, jerseys, scarves, etc. that show your own loyalty, be it The Thornes, your kid's baseball team, or your own intramural kickball team. Represent!
• Your ticket includes one Freeland Gin or Bourbon cocktail, a mocktail, or Ferment Brewing Female Alpha IPA, and light bites. Additional beverages (including those presented in the contest) and a limited food menu will be available for purchase after MC and strongwoman Gabi Dixson crowns a winner!
• There will be additional opportunities to donate to VOICEINSPORT.
***VOICEINSPORT is a nonprofit and global community of woman athletes that pairs collegiate and professional players with girls in the sports space as both individual and team mentors. VOICEINSPORT aims to empower and advocate for girls through research and education with the belief that the more support girls and women have in sport, the more powerful they become.
$5 of each ticket will be forwarded to the Sports Bra team working the event. The remaining $25 of each will be donated directly to VOICEINSPORT.
Doors at 5:30pm. Contest begins at 6.
