About this Event
At Clary Sage Herbarium, we are always eager to help people cultivate a more intimate relationship with plants. Herbalism isn’t just about remedies—it’s about integrating plants into daily life as food, nourishment, and deep support. We’re excited to welcome Missy Rohs of the Arctos School, whose expertise makes working with herbs accessible and intuitive, with a focus on how to easily incorporate them into meals and daily routines.
Finally, it’s time for the green to return in full force! Missy will delve into the ways we can support our bodies through this seasonal transition, focusing on herbal food and infusions as a foundation for vitality. We’ll explore nutrient-dense edibles like nettles, chickweed, and violet, along with sustainable foraging techniques and practical ways to prepare these plants as everyday nourishment. From mineral-rich infusions and broths to simple, delicious ways to add herbs to meals, this session will provide tangible ways to bring more plant-based nourishment into your routine. Whether you’re looking to refresh your diet with seasonal greens or deepen your connection with the plants around you, this class will offer insights to carry into the months ahead.
